Human Media provided all the screen design and programming for the 35mm Motion Picture "Knowing", made in 2008 and released in 2009. Amongst the designs were many reconstructions of Google Desktops, YouTube, MapView pages, and Newspaper sites. All of these site designs were made interactive as motion graphics, and none were actually a real web site in order to customise them for the production and lock down the content. However they behaved and responded like real web sites even down to the animated gif advertisements in order that they could be cleared legally. So I haven't shown the dozen or so site designs as they look similar to the actual real world sites, but still had to be designed regardless.
So what I have show here is a complete TiVo redesign, interactive like the real thing, with background animations and transitions all created in After Effects and controlled with Macromedia Director code. Next sample is a US Government Emergency Broadcast Transmission screen, completely redesigned and animating. Nothing like the actual US government EBT screen which is a little underwhelming. Lastly a scientific data analyser was designed for the final scene with solar reveal, all interactive and behaving like a real world application, again created in After Effects animated with interactivity in Director.
