A red dinner candle for that important date. A tea light in the wilderness or lounge room camping. A virtual lighter to hold high at the concert - permitted indoors and no scorched fingers! A birthday candle that never burns down. A 'sparkler' that doesn't smell. A soft glowing night light to count the sheep by. A lava light to meditate to.

iSpineCare
Version: 1.0.1

Overview
SpineCare is a 3D animation library of spine anatomy and pathology movies that can be used to increase the quality of your patient education, while decreasing the time involved in delivering it.

iSpineCare can be shown to your client in the chair or on the bed during the consultation, in the waiting room, in the ER, and in the ward, via your iPhone or iPod Touch.

Features
Using verbal descriptions or still images for patient education is inefficient and often ineffective in conveying dynamic joint function and the evolution of complex pathology. These weaknesses are amplified when addressing an un-educated audience in a time-poor, resource-limited setting, in a demanding medico-legal environment.

Patient education in the 21st century needs to use the mobile digital technologies to provide optimum client, clinician, clinic and insurer benefits. iSpineCare provides rapid, mobile, reproducible spine anatomy and pathology education.

Our movies allow you to quickly show -
• how disc herniation leads to spinal stenosis or nerve root radiculopathy
• how annular disc tears lead to nerve ingrowth and chronic pain
• how lateral flexion of a degenerative spinal segment causes nerve root impingement
• why nerve root impingement causes limb pain
• how facet joint pain can be stopped with a medial branch nerve block
• how cervical rheumatoid degeneration leads to fatal spinal cord compression
• how poor posture causes muscle tension and pain
• how a tight iliopsoas causes increased lumbar lordosis and anterior pelvic tilt
• how pelvic muscle contraction lifts the pelvic floor sling
• and much more.

A tool for clinicians to present spine care information to their clients.

Galactic Frontiers
Version: 1.0.2

Galactic Frontiers is a strategy game for one to four players, where each player is a contender vying for supreme power over the galaxy. Starting from a single base planet, players invade neighboring planets by moving ships to those planets. Most planets will be occupied by other forces, either neutral or those of opposing players. Having moved one or more ships to a neighboring planet, the computer will determine whether any ensuing battles are won or lost and the players are informed of the result at the commencement of the next turn.

Note: Galactic Frontiers is a MacOS Classic application. It is only compatible with MacOS 9 and older versions of MacOS X with classic emulation.
